Khang is a first-generation Vietnamese-American from DeBary, Florida. He holds a deep interest in space-making and how the phenomenology of form connects with the human species. Through sketching, drawing, and model-making, Khang formulates ideas on place-making, with a primary focus on human perception and gestalt theory. 
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design from the University of Florida where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and is currently a third-year graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania.  
Khang’s portfolio "Define Connection" awarded him the 2023 Kanter Tritsch Prize in Energy & Architectural Innovation. He was also awarded 2nd place in the E. Lewis Dales Traveling Fellowship, 3rd place in the Schenck-Woodman Competition and 1st place in Hera Concept Alter Ego Competition for the PennCharity Fashion Show. 
He has held various positions at a variety of institutions and firms. He was the marketing lead and architectural intern for Abacus Construction Company in Winter Park, Florida, a Design Fellow for the Fresh Air Fund with PennPraxis in Fishkill, New York, and an architectural intern for Tom Wiscombe Architects in Los Angeles, California.
